Hi, I’m Abigail Powers, the artist behind Abigail Leigh Designs. I create original, watercolor-based artwork that translates beautifully into retail-ready goods, from home textiles to paper products and thoughtfully curated gifts.

My work is rooted in bold color, intricate detail, and storytelling, with each design beginning as an original painting in my Michigan studio. These pieces are then developed into products designed for everyday use and easy gifting. In 2025 alone, I personally sold over 3,000 hand towels, reflecting my focus on creating functional art that people love to give and receive.

Alongside my core collections, I create the Meet Me In series celebrating local cities and universities, making my work especially meaningful for hometown pride, travel memories, and campus life. I collaborate with boutiques, businesses, and campus partners through custom projects, licensed designs, and a growing wholesale program that continues to expand nationwide. Teaching art locally remains an important part of my practice, keeping me connected to my creative community and continually inspired.
